Pre-Toddlers

 Our Pre-Toddler room caters for children who are confidently walking up to the age of approximately 2 years. We provide a safe and age-appropriate environment where children feel secure and supported with smooth transitions. Spontaneous teaching aims to enhance each child’s desire to learn through play and the educators extend the children’s interests to reach new developmental milestones.

The Pre-Toddler room offers a lot of similarities to the nursery and more.

The Pre-Toddler room is made up of 4 separate areas:         

• A separate sleep room with relaxing white noise and tranquil music to comfort our sleeping children however we also provide beds for sleeping to assist with the transition from cot to bed.         
• The main play area is full of educational experiences based on the children’s likes, interests and developmental stages.       
• Our newly renovated yard full of experiences and nature to explore. 
• A nappy change area where we provide both nappies and wipes.  

Our educators believe learning and exploration is further than just what we learn indoors and offer an open indoor-outdoor play experience weather permitting and conduct safety check each time the children are ready to explore the outdoors.
