Toddler One & Two 

 Our Toddler rooms cater for children aged 2-3 and we provide two of these rooms. The rooms are joined by a shared bathroom and also share a yard. The Toddler room’s offers both nappy change facilities and bathrooms to encourage and assist with toileting development. Within the room our educators provide learning play spaces and experiences to cater for all the children’s needs and developmental abilities.

Meal times are a wonderful time for both our educators and children to sit together and chat with one another, reflect on their day and enjoy social interactions whilst enjoying a nutritionally balanced meal cooked by our onsite cook, which the children are able to self serve. If your child still enjoys and requires a midday nap, we provide rest time after lunch and provide beds for those who need a sleep and dim the room to create a relaxing environment with tranquil music.

Our educators set up our yard weather permitting to extend the children’s  learning and exploration and conduct safety check each time the children are ready to explore the outdoors.  

We engage in interactions with the children and respond according to their needs. We endeavour to teach the children sharing skills and explore colours shapes and numbers. We extend on the children’s learning of Auslan signs from our Hey Dee Ho musical program,  into our curriculum with colours, shapes animals and numbers to continue the children’s knowledge well after the session has ended. The children have endless opportunities to explore, use their imagination, and most of all have fun while they grow and develop.
